Passports for Infants/Under 10 years


Separate passports for infants (under 10 years) (Processing time for application done by live enrollment: 5-7 weeks, application by post or manual form: 2-3 months)

    • Two copies of the completed and printed application form.Download
      ( To Save the Form ‘Right Click’ on the downloaded Form and click on ‘Save As’. Save the Form on your computer then fill the Form. To Print, please select Option ‘NONE’ on ‘Page Scaling’ or ‘ACTUAL SIZE’, then Print the completed Form).
    • An application specifying of its need from parents.
    • A photocopy of birth registration certificates (having parents’ name).
    • A photocopy of passport of the father AND mother of the child with visa copy.
    • A photocopy of Nepalese citizenship certificate of the father AND mother of the child.
    • A copy of marriage registration certificate.
    • Total 4 pp size photographs (borderless, white background, colour, size 35mm x 45mm).
    • Due to the Live MRP enrollment system, the applicant must visit the embassy (under 5 years children not mandatory)  with cash of £55 for passport fee and under 5 years depends whether they are able to attend live enrollment or not also the special circumstances apply.
    • The application by post is no longer accepted if applicants are over 5 years and able to be here, except for the special circumstances and for the applicant from Ireland, Malta or Iceland. If applying by post, please enclose bank draft or postal order of (£55) made payable to ‘Embassy of Nepal’ and a separate (£10) bank draft or postal order for the self addressed return envelope (for renewed passport to be sent back). In addition, postal application should send 4 pp size photographs (borderless, white background, colour, size 35mm x 45mm).
    • The MRP of Infants will be valid for 5 years only.

The fee can be paid in cash for application made in person or by postal order (*Please note that personal cheques are not accepted) for application made via post.
