Appeal for Voluntary Contributions

On Wednesday, 26 August 2026, severe flash flooding in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa District caused significant loss of life and property and severely affected riverbank areas in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and surrounding areas. The Government of Nepal has mobilized all available resources for search, rescue, evacuation and emergency relief operations.

In solidarity with the affected families and in support of the ongoing search, rescue, relief, rehabilitation, and recovery efforts, the Embassy of Nepal in London appeals to all to make voluntary contributions to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund of the Government of Nepal.
